Why use WARPwall Antivirus?

WARPwall Antivirus (WAV) is based on the ClamAV engine und thus highly reliable, quick und stable. WAV is a control program to the Windows ClamAV release. WAV is easy to configure and best of all, it is a freeware antivirus solution to private users. WAV is currently undergoing beta tests thus some important features are missing. 

Features
- scanning functionality supports "on demand" drives, folders and files scanning
- warnings (found viruses) are passed to the log files
  an automatic warning process (i.e. popup windows when virus found) will follow at a later stage
- testing mechanisms (i.e. the AV engine stops) are included and a warning is presented to the user
- commands to stop, restart (after signature update) the AV engine are included
- an automatic signature update is done each time WAV starts
  commands to manually update the signatures and also check for program updates are included
- current work considers tests for realtime antivirus monitoring and setting options to the engine
- a german port will follow shortly
